• There are three small, rustic houses that can be rented together or separately.
• The main house sleeps up to four people, with two bedrooms, two bright living rooms, a kitchenette, TV and fireplace. It also has a terrace with views to the surrounding countryside.
• The other two houses sleep two guests, with one bedroom, one bathroom and a sitting area. Only one of these has a kitchen area, while the other has space to make tea or coffee.
• The interiors are decked out in comfortable farmhouse style, and each house has a private terrace with tables, benches and sun beds, next to a shared lawn.

The highlight of Casa da Eira is undoubtedly its outdoor spaces. Surrounded by a lush garden and orchard, there are plenty of benches and shady nooks where you can hideaway with a book. Or you can cool off in shared outdoor swimming pool. As well as a private terraces for each house, there is also a large stone terrace with dining furniture, that's ideal for outdoor dining and family gatherings after days at the beach.

Whilst the coastal area around Lisbon and the Algarve is home to a huge surfing population, the northwest region offer a much more rustic, uncrowded surfing experience, all year-round.

Freaks of Nature is situated just five minutes' drive from Praia de Moledo.

Along the 10km coastline there are up to 12 peaks with good surfing conditions. Your surf coach/ guide chooses the best surf spot every day, for conditions and your ability.

All of the spots are sandy beach breaks, which are especially good for beginners.

The wider region offers suitable surf breaks for every level: from fast, hollow waves to gentle, peeling waves.
