Radisson Blu Taghazout Bay has all the ingredients you want for an easy, active family stay — from surf to spa and plenty in between.
- Tadenga Surf Academy runs lessons, board hire, guiding and surf fitness right here on the beach (more on that in Surf and Beaches).
- Two restaurants and three bars serve Moroccan and international flavours with sea views.
- Kids Club offers games and supervised fun (check current age ranges with the resort).
- There’s a pool to splash in, a private beach area to relax on, and a fully equipped gym to keep up daily movement.
- Wellness comes courtesy of a spa with hammam, sauna and treatments, and yoga/stretch sessions are offered regularly.
- Extra touches include activities like camel rides, beach volleyball and excursions to local sights – all adding up to a surf village that feels lively yet easy‑going.
The waves are just steps away and the onsite Tadenga Surf Academy runs lessons for all ages and abilities – from first-time paddlers to progressing teens and adults.
Beginners can start on the gentle beach break right in front of the resort, while more confident surfers can explore the long, rolling right-handers a short drive away.
Boards and wetsuits are available to hire, and guided trips take you to nearby breaks like Anchor Point, Killer Point and Hash Point.
Surf coaching is flexible — you can do a structured lesson, join a family session, or rent boards and explore at your own pace.
Surfing and board hire is not included in your stay – this can be booked in advance or on arrival at Tadenga Surf Academy.
Consistent Atlantic swells, warm water, and professional guidance make this one of the easiest family surf trips in Morocco, whether you’re catching your first wave or chasing the perfect ride.
A 3/2mm wetsuit covers you for most of the year; pack a 4/3mm for winter surf sessions.
Check out our Family Surfing Guide to Morocco for more information on the surf beaches.
Two restaurants and three bars keep things easy, with a mix of buffet, Ã la carte and relaxed beachside dining.
Le Bougainvillea is the main spot for breakfast and all-day dining, with generous buffets and international dishes. Le Lazuli brings a more laid-back, Italian feel — think pizza, pasta and easy family dinners.
For drinks, Seaven Bar is your go-to for post-surf cocktails by the pool, while La Brise – Plage Privée is the beach club for long lunches, sunset drinks and the occasional lively evening. There’s also a rooftop bar for sea views and sundowners.
It’s all designed to be simple — quick bites after surf, relaxed family dinners, or something a bit more social when the sun goes down.
Children's menus available. Special diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) catered for across all restaurants.
Beyond the waves and the delicious cuisine, Radisson Blu Taghazout is perfectly situated to explore the sights and culture of Morocco. It's up to you whether you want to stay active or slow things right down:
- Surfing, paddleboarding and kayaking all run through the on-site academy.
- If you fancy exploring, excursions include camel rides along the beach, quad biking, sandboarding in the Timlaline dunes, and trips into Taghazout village.
- If you're keen to ride when the waves are flat, head to the Taghazout skate park – it's worth a visit just to soak up the colour and atmosphere.
- Why not take a day trip to Essaouira— the wind-swept blue-and-white coastal town and kitesurfing capital?
