“France offers a very diverse experience for family surfers. There are plenty of beginner beaches, but also fast, barrelling waves for pros only. On any given day, there could be surf for any level of surfers somewhere along the varied coast.
“I’ve been with my family to Brittany, which is perfect during the summer with plenty of nooks and crannies, and places to explore. We’ve also been to South West of France several times, and love the culture and waves around Lacanau and Biaritz. And, of course, the kids love the croissants and pan-au-chocolat too.”
