If you're looking for a relaxed, well-equipped self-catering apartment right by the sea, close to beginner and intermediate surf breaks, and in a great location to explore Barbados, enjoy island life from the family-owned Rosalie Apartments.
Location: Atlantic Shores, Nr South Point, Christ Church.
Transfer: 10 minutes’ from Grantley Adams International Airport (airport transfers available).

- All rooms come with a well-equipped kitchen, lounge and sea-facing balcony.

- Check the swell from your ocean-side terrace and pool, and walk a few minutes' to South Point, or onto beginner-friendly Freights, where you can surf with the turtles.
- Bodies' School of Surf and Ride the Tide Surf School can sort you out with surfboards and lessons and/ or guiding to the best spots for your experience and the conditions.
- Hire a car and it's an easy to hop to the best surf breaks around the island – from Soup Bowl to Brandons.
- It’s just 5-10 minutes’ by ZR bus to the idyllic swimming and snorkelling spot of Miami Beach.
- A little further afield, seek out the secluded white sands of Bottom’s Bay.Â

- Get fresh catch from Oistin's fish market and whip up a culinary feast in your kitchen.
- You can hire a private chef for special occasions.
- We recommend hopping on the ZR bus/ taking a few minutes' drive to Oistin's Fish Fry for a full seafood spread cooked over the flames.
- In Oistins you'll also find general amenities such as bars, supermarkets and other restaurants.
- Just before Oistins we'd recommend Cafe Luna for a special meal out. The Caribbean meets the Med in this candle-lit roof-top dining space decked out in Moroccan style.
- Our favourite thing to do is castaway on a catamaran for a turtle tour with Cool Runnings or Tiami.
- Visit Coco Hill rainforest – home to birds, freshwater springs, bamboo groves, majestic Royal Palms and many fruit trees, spices and herbs. The highest point is 1085 feet and overlooks the rugged East Coast.Â
- Take a round-the-island tour to see it all in the hands of an expert guide.
- Make a splash on a family day out at the aqua park at Carlisle Bay or Brandon's Beach.
- Explore the crystal clear pools and crystallised limestone of Harrison’s cave on an underground adventure.
- If you want to try diving or go on an organised snorkelling trip yet, you can arrange this through Barbados Blue, who are experts in both scuba and snorkelling tours.
