You're footsteps away from Dover Beach, which can offer great conditions for beginner surfers, as well as snorkelling and swimming.
It's easy to reach a littering of sandy bays for bathing and watersports.
It’s a short hop to the easy-going surf breaks of Freight’s Bay, South Point and Brandon's.
More experienced surfers can head to the west coast, where options include Tropicana, Soup Bowl and Sandy Lane.
It’s just 10 minutes’ by bus to the idyllic swimming spot of Miami Beach.
A little further afield, seek out the secluded white sands of Bottom’s Bay.

Visit Coco Hill rainforest – home to birds, freshwater springs, bamboo groves, majestic Royal Palms and many fruit trees, spices and herbs. The highest point is 1085 feet and overlooks the rugged East Coast.
The tourist centre of Bridgetown is about 15 minutes' drive.
Make a splash on a family day out at the aqua park at Carlisle Bay or Brandon's Beach.
Explore the crystal clear pools and crystallised limestone of Harrison’s cave on an underground adventure.
