- The two-bedroom Cornish cottages are perfect for families of 4, with one double and one twin room, fully equipped kitchens, and open-plan living and dining areas decked out with log-burners. Â
- One three-bedroom luxury holiday home sleeps 6 (plus up to two cots), with a roof terrace, hot tub and open fire. Â
- The 2-3 bedroom cabins and caravans offer cottage-style comforts and are fully heated, making them perfect family accommodation in all seasons. Â

- Two minutes’ walk from your stylish accommodation, Mawgan Porth beach catches all the swell and offers consistent surf for learners and more experienced surfers.  Â
- Surfboard and wetsuit rental available. Â
- Other nearby surf breaks include Harlyn, Watergate Bay and Newquay’s beaches.  Â
- We can book a private babysitter if you fancy hitting the surf without the kids in tow. Â
- Water temps range from 9-10C in winter to 15-18 in summer – so you’ll need at least a 3/2mm wetsuit in summer and 5/4mm in winter.Â
- Mawgan Porth’s sandy beach is a mecca for surfers, dog walkers and bona fide beach lovers. Â
- When you’re not surfing, take a rock-pool ramble, explore the sea caves and rinse off under the waterfall. Â
- A beachside huddle of cafés, bars and foodie outlets make it easy to stay fuelled up for a full day out at the beach. Â
- A 40-minute coastal path walk to the south is Watergate Bay – a stylish surf resort and family friendly beach. Â
- Just over the headland to the north is the awe-inspiring Bedruthan Steps beach, one of Cornwall’s most photographed beaches.Â
- Mawgan Porth is just a 10-minute drive from Newquay’s buzzing beaches, including Lusty Glaze, Tolcarne, Great Western, Towan and the surfing mecca of Fistral.  Â
Food
- The Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving delicious, contemporary, seasonal dishes that the whole family will love. Â
- Relax over breakfast, barista coffee and the daily newspapers, or come in for a family feast after a day on the beach.Â
- There is a soft play area next to the restaurant, making it easy to entertain younger children while you enjoy a meal.Â
- All of the self-catering pads have fully equipped kitchens, and the yurt village has a country-style cookhouse where you can create your own Cornish cuisine. Â
- Don’t forget to get your fresh eggs from the free-range chickens onsite.Â
- Nearby at the beach you’ll find a huddle of food and drink venues, including The Merrymoor Inn, Catch seafood restaurant and The Beach Box café . A range of street-food vans also serve up the likes of noodles, wood-fired pizzas and Mexican wraps. Â
